Not balanced/ You get what you pay for
Second review:I am adding an update after receiving the replacement of the machine. The first one was not stable so I returned. When I received the second one I was extremely impressed with it until the third day of using it when it started to squeak and one of the leg stands started shaking as you step up and down on it.The company sends you the machine very clean and they run good business. Also, the machine gives me a good exercise for my legs and I break a sweat while using it, but honestly, you get what you pay for. I just hope it doesn’t break as I am using it.First review:This is a good product but lopsided. It moves side to side as you exercise on it. I will ask for a replacement and hopefully the new one is more stable.

Squeaks
Sturdy, but squeaks annoyingly. I only ever use for 20 min and have to grease it or WD40 the joints every single time. I’ve had other stair steppers that didn’t do this so I am not sure why this one does.

My postpartum activity
I was a little upset about my weight gain after my pregnancy. let me tell you this device has changed my life. I use it 30 minutes a day and I have already lost 11 kilos in 2 months. it is easy to use and very quiet. It takes up less space I use it in my room while baby sleeps.

It’s good
For the price it’s pretty good. Easy to use and works well. The only negative is that if you are tall, the resistance bands are a little short, other than that… all good.

Great…until it starts flaking black goo
Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He is 175 lbs and uses it in 15 min increments. Super useful and portable for a short work out. But the hydraulics get super hot.. then we started noticing it was leaking black goo/metal shavings that could stain our carpet. Longevity… not so much. Good idea but needs more R&D to correct its flaws.

A solid work out but gets SQUEAKY and messy
I loved this mini stepper. I convinced lots of my friends to get mini steppers of their own. But I’ve had it for 3 months and I’ve used it nearly daily and well… it’s started to squeak REALLY loud. I put my head phones on and blast at top volume to block it out and I still hear the squeak.Plus, it’s started to drop these iron filings? I don’t know what it is but it’s black and it stains clothes, so I have to use my stepper on top of a yoga mat so as not to ruin my floors. I loved this thing but I wouldn’t recommend anyone get this exact stepper for the reasons I’ve listed above.

Takes some getting used to
Stepper is compact and a bit awkward to carry. Initially needed to use my cane for support. Wish that you could easily adjust the tension/resistance between stepping. Have to start for short periods of time and gradually increase your time stepping.

after you get it, you gotta get into it.
I think this is a great product for weight loss and I 100% believe this will help you lose weight. I am a 215 pound woman and I worked at Walmart for 6 months and lost 36 pounds just by walking around the store so I full heartedly believe that we can do it on this stepper. It is quiet maybe a 2/10 because you will hear this clicking sound but I mean cmon we are trying to unbig our backs, it’s gonna make a little sound. It also comes with weight adjustment at the bottom of the stepper after you assemble it so you can tweak how much pressure you’re pushing down so if it gets a little intense, just make it lighter by using the little knob at the bottom of the stepper. And I tested for you all, no, no one can hear you in your room working out in secret and they can’t hear you downstairs. I got y’all. And if you really get into it, gets some dumbbells or a kettlebell and give yourself a full body work out. 10/10 would recommend. remember you gotta apply yourself for it to really work! good luck!

used stepper in different manner, and it has changed my life
This will be a review for this item that will suggest a different way to use the product. I am 75 years old and have had severe high blood pressure for years. I also have violent reactions to beta blockers. This means I have to be very careful in my life choices. I have really felt the need to exercise. Just walking around my house slowly, and for a short time, is no longer working. So as I researched alternative methods of exercise, I decided on this stepper. Upon receiving it, I realized on the first use it was not what I needed. The following morning when I came out of our bedroom my husband had put the stepper on our kitchen counter top. He told me to place my arms onto the pedals and push down slowly. My arms are the exact length of the pedals. My husband put the tension on the lowest setting. I could push the pedals down slowly. It only took 2 pushes each arm and the blood pressure was high enough that I needed to stop. HOWEVER…..because of the location, I can use it frequently during the day. My blood pressure has dropped. I can do more. Now I understand that you can not publish this review, because I have used the stepper in a manner that you can not suggest for safety purposes. BUT…I want to thank you for this marvelous stepper. It has given me a new hope for a horrible health issue in my life.

For the price it’s not bad
Has a lot of pros; compact, easy to use, nice digital feature. As someone who exercises in at a beginner/heading towards moderate level, it’s a pretty decent workout if it stick with it! Down side is (for me who is very uncoordinated) it’s hard for me to use resistance bands while at a moderate pace. It also starts to make a sneaking notice after 5/7 minutes. I usually wear headphones when I use it so not a big deal to me. Overall for me it was a good buy for what I paid.

Works great and no impact in joints.
It came completely assembled and usable right out of the box. I adjusted the screw to allow max range. I use it 4 times a week for at least 20 min and it works you out.The zero impact has helped rehab my injured knee, I already feel more range of motion, and it gets my heart rate really going.I’m really impressed at how good the quality is for such an inexpensive device.

Takes up very little space, works well
This little stepper has a very small footprint, easy to store under my desk for weekday use. There is a limit to how high you can set the steps before your foot lands at a very odd angle, but it can support a range of motion a bit higher than the average staircase, so I figure that’s good enough.Definitely get some high-temp non-melting grease for it. I had an issue with it squeaking on regular machine oil, but once I applied the temperature-resistant grease the squeaking stopped. I’ve been reapplying grease about once a month, and using it 5 days a week between 30 and 60 minutes. So far it’s been over six months with no issues with sturdiness or stability, so I’m giving it full stars.

Love mine!
I bought this because Tik Tok made me basically lol. But it has turned into an integral part of my daily routine these past few months! I wanted to wait until I’ve had it for a while to review it.I use my stepper every day first thing in the morning for at least 20 minutes straight and I have had no issues Except two. And that is #1: about a month after use I noticed it started to click and grind while I was using it and the pedals weren’t gliding as smoothly. I didn’t think much of it at the time. When I removed the stepper from the place I was in on top of my living room rug, there were very fine metal shavings/dust ground into my carpet! While I wasn’t thrilled with that, luckily some WD-40 has cured the problem and my stepper gets lubed up now every few weeks when I notice it isn’t gliding smoothly any longer. When lubing up the shocks, though, black metal shavings mixed with WD-40 leak out everywhere so I make sure to use the stepper on top of cardboard or my yoga mat and wipe the machine and the surface I was on clean afterwards.Another thing is that #2: the end caps have popped off of the machine a few times on me while I was using it. Nothing major and they pop right back on, but I’ve only had this happen when I use the stepper on a flat surface like my kitchen floor where the machine can easily slide around if I’m not careful. No issues with the end caps when using it on carpet or on top of my yoga mat. I could glue them into place I guess but haven’t felt the need to.Other than those two small issues I have no complaints. I like the resistance bands it came with a lot and they were SO HARD to use at first but I’ve built resistance up now and I love that you can remove them if you don’t want to use them. I found a set of higher resistance bands that are compatible with this machine so if I feel like doing a harder workout I can choose harder resistance bands to use that day.Compatibility was also a huge factor for me, as I have a small house with a toddler and needed this to store away somewhere when not in use. This machine does just that perfectly! It’s light and easy enough to use anywhere that I can get on it any time of the day, like in the evening when my husband and I watch TV. It’s quiet enough that we can both still enjoy the TV show without me disturbing him in the process. I love going for walks and jogging outside, but this is an awesome “home gym” addition to my exercise routine for rainy days or whenever I don’t feel like going outside. My main motivation for purchasing this was the 105° summer days we had! No more getting up at 4AM to run or walk outside unless I want to because this little machine is always ready! You won’t regret this buy if you’re serious about keeping in shape or getting in shape. It’s low impact enough to where it doesn’t bother my bad knee when I’m having bad days either and I love that. If you’re overweight and just looking to get started in your fitness journey in the comfort of your own home, look no further! Buy this!

Surprised how good it is
It came completely assembled and usable right out of the box. I adjusted the screw to allow max range. Now I use it several times a day while working at my sit stand desk. I’m very out of shape, so my target is 100 reps per cycle, and increasing over time. The zero impact has helped rehab my injured knee, I already feel more range of motion, and it gets my heart rate really going.I’m really impressed at how good the quality is for such an inexpensive device.

Does a good job
I have used this stepper now for three months. It is pretty good. 15 -20 mins a day give you a decent cardio workout. It has a knob that can be used to set up the effort mode. I use it on the intense setting and it’s a good leg workout and gets the heart rate up. The seller is very communicative if there are any issues.

Noisy and Leaves Black Residue/Shavings on Floor
I have had this stepper and used it consistently since July 2023. Since I began using this stepper, I noticed black residue/shavings would be left behind on my floor after use – this issue has persisted. The stepper itself began to squeak loudly following 3 months of use at which time I applied multi-purpose grease to the contact points on the stepper. The squeaking subsided after the aforesaid, but has come back ~2 months later. Overall, not super pleased with the stepper. Provides a good workout, but I’m not really looking to clean up black residue/shavings after each use and risk staining/discoloration of my floors.

Works great but digital step counter not so much
The only thing I don’t like about this is that the digital step counter in the middle has no easy way to reset it. It steps smoothly and has a nice easy natural spring. I’m 240 and it supported me no problem

Good small but not a vo2max workout
As a baseline for comparison, according to one measure my max heart rate should be in the low 170s. I have a treadmill in the gym I go to, and if I jog on that with a 15% incline anywhere from three to four and a half miles per hour, within maybe 3 minutes I get up to the mid-160s without too much trouble. I probably need to jog at four and a half miles per hour for close to a minute to get up to the mid-170s which is quite demanding. On the stair stepper if I go at a fairly good clip, sometimes having my toes right on the edge so it will go faster, after 3 to 5 minutes I can maybe get up to the mid-130s. On one occasion in the middle of a general workout I was able to get back on there and get up to 150. That said it was a major quad burn! That is something I do not get when I use the treadmill. Because of the shorter range of motion your quads are a lot more involved with the stepper, which feels like it makes it harder to get a higher heart rate since you’re limited by your lactic acid in the quads.Overall though this is still a pretty nice machine just to have around. I have it in my office which is right on space, and during meetings if I don’t have to talk and can turn the video off I’ll just hop on there for 5 minutes get my heart rate up to 130 or so.I’ve also put it close to a door where I have a different set of bands attached so I can pull on them, kind of like a cross-country skiing as opposed to lifting them like the ones that are attached. But I don’t mind doing both it just gives me variety so I can engage my back and triceps instead of my shoulders and biceps.Definitely a good purchase for the money and the space, but kind of hard to do a VO2 max workout on it.

YouTube made me buy it ! I was a bit skepticalnot going to lie . However, it did what it’s suppose to do add in some 5 lb weights or kettlebells you will feel it and it is a workout. The max I’ve done on this is 30 mins most days 20 mins always on the highest incline and stepping with intensity . Make sure you have good balance and put in that work 0 regrets on this purchase.

Noise maker
I like the stepper a lot. I use it 6 days a week for 30 mins and all of sudden it makes a lot of noise after a while. You have to either tighten up the screws(which you have to use an hex or Allen key) and spray the screws with WD-40 or use something that’s a lil thick. But other than that it’s good

I really like this, broke my ankle over a year ago and this has definetly helped me strengthen my quad back up. It steps but…..
The instruction manual gives no details on how to adjust the stepper or program the meter. To program it tells you to “refer to the following picture” then shows several stretches & exercises with the bands instead of how anything works. It does tell you not to use for more then 20 minutes at a time which if I had known I would have picked a different one for who I bought it for.

Started squeaking after a few months
I really enjoyed using this mini stepper until it started squeaking… LOUD. I live in an apartment with thin walls and I’m pretty sure my neighbors can hear me exercising. The good news is it does work and I actually work up a sweat when I’m using it. I actually really enjoy using it and would give it five stars if it wasn’t for the crazy squeaking. It also does leak some of the lubricant a little bit. It wasn’t a lot though. It’s too late to return it at this point so I guess I’ll have to see if I could find a way to lubricate it somehow.

WHEW! Will put you through your paces
I’m just now getting back into fitness post covid. This stepper is LEGIT. I’m a heavier girl, and ya’ll I knew I was out of shape but dang this stepper! I can only for right now do about a minute before I’m like okay break. I will say shipping was late but the seller did communicate that to me. I do like the bands to help me get in an upper body workout. It is sturdy, my only drawback is the little nubs, hurt my bare feet so I have to wear shoes otherwise very happy with my purchase!

TikTok Made Me Do It
Glad it did, because I love this thing. If you have it set up in a place where it can permanently stay, you will naturally want to step on it for a few steps throughout the day to get accustomed to it. I recommend starting out this way because it will kick your butt. You will discover muscles in your legs that you didn’t know existed.
